The FEED Fruit Bin
A weekly fruit share that you can add to your FEED Bin order or purchase separately as a stand-alone box. Receive 4-5 items of fruit each week, or approximately 5 pounds of fruit, for $31.
Fruit items and varieties will be seasonal and dependent on availability. Each week, receive the best and most unique fruit varieties from our network of 80 farmers!
What makes the FEED Fruit Bin special?
As our FEED Bin customers already know, FEED is unique in the quality of produce we source and deliver. All of our fruit is source-identified, so whether a producer is able to afford organic certification or not, we carefully vet and wholly trust all of our producers’ farming practices. FEED produce is some of the most nutrient-rich and flavorful food out there. And, thanks to our harvest-to-order aggregation model, most of our fruit and vegetables arrive to your hands within 48 hours of harvest!
When it comes to fruit, you will be receiving incredibly unique fruit varieties, which are definitely not available in your average supermarket. In some cases, our producers have been cultivating these perennial plants for decades! Our farmers’ love and care shines through in the flavor — this fruit is the sweetest, juiciest, and most rich-in-flavor we’ve ever tasted!
Delight in the best of our producers’ bounty while directly supporting over 30 farmer-members and our team of worker-members who make up the North Bay’s co-op food hub!

In This Week’s Fruit Bin…
Fruit Bins are on pause until May!
Here at FEED, we're committed to sourcing produce from local, organic farms -- and this means we eat with the seasons, no matter what! Many locally-produced foods (including eggs and dairy, not just produce!) have been winding down as Earth's natural cycles take a pause before beginning the transition into the feverish growth of spring. As citrus season comes to a close, we'll be pausing the Fruit Bin for 6-8 weeks until we can bring you the next abundance of seasonal fruit: spring berries!
Thank you for buying Fruit Bins over the past nine months, and get ready for May, when we'll be back with strawberries, blueberries, avocados, apricots, and more!
