Dipping Sauce for those Artichokes!

Is it just us, or is half the fun of eating artichokes the sauce you serve with them? This dipping sauce is creamy, rich, and tangy, a perfect savory accent for the bright, nutty artichoke leaves and heart. It’s easy to make (you only need 7 ingredients, and one of them is pepper!), and it comes together in a fraction of the time it takes to cook artichokes.

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup whole milk Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 garlic clove, grated

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • Allium greens for garnish (finely chop whatever spring allium greens you may have gotten in your bin!)

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, yogurt, lemon juice, mustard, and finely grated or chopped garlic. Season with freshly ground black pepper and sprinkle allium greens on top.

  2. Serve with steamed or roasted artichokes.
