We are urban-ish farmers near Downtown Santa Rosa and in Forestville. We have transformed our neighbors’ yards, plus our own (400 sf) into productive food crops and are selling to several of our favorite local restaurants, FEED Sonoma and a farm cart at the Made Local Marketplace. And boy, are we loving it! We love plants, we love food and we love our neighbors and customers! We blend SPIN (small plot intensive) farming and permaculture techniques to grow salad greens, horseradish, artichoke, squash, tomatoes, herbs, beets, onions, carrots, flowers and much more! Our Forestville farm is on a beautiful piece of property with full sun exposure and we’ve gone crazy planing everything we can think of. Eric has installed an irrigation system, rainwater catchment, a vegetable washing station, a 30′ greenhouse, barn greenhouse, tractor shed, solar hot water system to warm the greenhouse, a chicken tractor, bee hive and a hardening off shade structure. Here we will do year-round farming for our clients and our own food supply. Locally grown food is where it’s at and we are happy to be a small part of a big revolution.
